SO. Blaine has model cars on his dresser. This makes me wonder if his father wanted to rebuild that car with him because he knew Blaine liked cars and he was genuinely trying to connect with his son, and he was not, as Blaine thought, trying to turn him straight. I know some people hate the idea that Blaine could have misjudged his dad’s intentions. Does seeing these cars in his room alter your opinion at all? Discuss.

It’s possible to appreciate the design aspect without wanting to get into the mechanics of it. Or his dad gave him those. They fit the overall vibe of the room well enough that I’m not sure they indicate an interest in cars in general.
